Profile: Logistics Professional upgrading his education.
Need: Looking for a resume and cover letter in order to apply to a new role in a different company.
Solution: After reviewing the resume, we built a project that encompassed a re-write, both resume and cover letter. The client suggested he needed interview preparation assistance and a LinkedIn profile.

Client A had just emigrated to the Kitchener/Waterloo Region and just completed a diploma program at Conestoga College. He faced a few barriers, including minimal Canadian experience and an outdated resume, cover letter and no LinkedIn profile. After emailing our company, he stated he would like to conduct consultations over email and since some clients preferred this set up, we were happy to agree.

We determined the resume needed some work and redesigned and rewrote the content. We also suggested to see some positions that he was applying to and offered some advice on whether the positions matched his experience. This cut down on the amount of time he was using to apply to roles that were junior or senior to his experience level.

We then focused on his LinkedIn profile and ensured the information was uploaded and other important details were applied, including adding groups, skills and other pertinent details.

He is in the early stages of applying to new jobs and once he graduates he should be ready to go and secure a great opportunity.
