How to Ace the Interview; Continued

There are a few guidelines that we recommend to ace the interview, and some of you are already are doing these. Find out what you may not be doing.
As you know, the interview stage is the last stage before an offer is made (aside from reference checks, but those are somewhat out of your control). We outlined some simple strategies below to assist. There are many more tips, suggestions and strategies, but this will give you a quick idea of some of the basic items.
Preparation is key
Before going to the interview, it’s a great idea to get a better feel of the job you are applying to and the company that you may work for. Go to the company website and find out some key details regarding their corporate culture. You never know if the interviewer will ask “So, what do you know about our company”, and if you reply “I am unsure….”, forget the the job.
Be nice and show enthusiasm
We coached managers on performance and how to work with difficult staff. Most of the time when an employee was terminated it was due to their attitude, and their inability to get along with people. Show the interviewer that you are a nice person, and you will not be a problem child.
Conclude with a thank you email
After you asked your questions and concluded the interview, ensure to get the contact details of the interviewer, so you can send them a thank you email. This cements your candidacy for the role, and ties into the being nice.
