Just graduated or looking to apply to a role in the arts sector? What should your resume look like?

There are two ways in which you can approach applying to jobs in the creatively inclined sector, like fine art, graphic artist, photographer, web design etc.

Simple approach

The simple approach focuses on your portfolio. We would recommend minimizing your resume and concentrating on the items that you bring to the interview or submit a sample of your work along with your resume (which is even better).

Creative approach

Go full-out crazy and everything you touch exudes creative excellence! In other words, make the resume look creatively awesome. You will still want to submit a small sample of your work along if you do not incorporate what the company is looking for in your resume (if you resume does not look like what kind of work they want you to produce, you’ll need to submit something separately.)
